Description

Selector is seeking a Content Marketing Manager to help produce compelling content to help drive demand generation. They’ll support and execute our marketing plan by helping to produce content that drives awareness, and converts into funnel activity. Such assets can include surveys, industry reports, white papers, ebooks, and other creative lead generation assets and tools. You will also be in charge of running the Selector social media accounts and strategy to grow our social presence.

We’re looking for a detail-oriented personality with a technical background who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The Marketing Manager will report to the Sr. Director of Demand Generation.

Responsibilities

  • Work remotely
  • Collaborate with product and marketing teams to define and implement a content strategy to help generate leads and revenue
  • Research, propose, and leverage resources to produce content for our highly technical audience, such as:
    • Industry Reports
    • Website Copy
    • Surveys
    • Social
    • Blog posts, eBooks, guides, primers, and tutorials
    • Whitepapers and reference guides
    • Customer case studies
    • Other types of technical content
  • Support our email marketing strategy, including:
    • Creation of a monthly newsletter
    • Creation of other email marketing campaigns
  • Work as part of a cross-functional team including management, engineers, and external contractors to create a consistent, integrated brand perception and positive user-experience
  • Assisting in analyzing market trends and recommending changes to marketing and business development strategies based on analysis and feedback
  • Build and grow the Selectors social media presence

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, ideally with a technical focus
  • 4-7 years experience, preferably in a SaaS environment
  • Experience owning and managing content marketing, social media, and coordinating with external resources to achieve company objectives
  • Content marketing expertise, including development and distribution via social media channels such as Reddit, LinkedIn, and Twitter
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask; Self­-motivated and independent
  • Experienced in monitoring or analytics platforms for Applications, Networks, or Cloud infrastructure
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral

Preferred Experience

  • Design experience; Familiarity with Illustrator or Photoshop
  • Fluency with modern HTML and CSS
  • Knowledge and experience of style guides along with the development of workflow and processes to apply them across a growing organization
  • Experience working with project management software such as JIRA
  • Engagement and involvement in the technology community for a software product
