We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Director of Sales to lead the sales team at SafeBase. As the first Director of Sales at SafeBase, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth by managing a team of Account Executives. This role will lead all Sales for all net new business. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing and implementing GTM strategies, building high-performance teams, and fostering strong industry relationships.

How you’ll make an impact:

Team Leadership:

  • Lead, motivate, and mentor the sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets. Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the sales department.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, mentorship, and collaboration within the sales team, and broader organization.
  • Develop accurate sales forecasts and provide regular updates to the executive team on sales performance and pipeline metrics.

Revenue Growth:

  • Develop and execute high-level sales strategies and models to achieve revenue goals.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align sales efforts with product development and market trends.
  • Partner cross-functionally to generate qualified leads, streamline communication and drive results.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by understanding their needs and delivering solutions that exceed expectations.
  • Partner with Customer Success to ensure seamless onboarding handoffs.

Data-Driven Decision Making:

  • Implement and refine sales processes to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Provide regular reports and updates to senior leadership on sales metrics and achievements.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to analyze sales performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective measures as needed.

We’re looking for someone who has:

  • Proven experience as a successful sales leader, with a minimum of 5 years running a sales organization
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity solutions and technologies, preferably in a B2B software-as-a-service (SaaS) environment.
  • Experience at a high growth startup. Can do attitude with the roll up your sleeves mentality.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a sales team to achieve and exceed targets.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data for informed decision-making.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful sales strategies.
