As an HSE engineer, your main tasks will be as follows :

1/ HSE-MS

• Assist in monitoring and implementation of the company’s HSE policies, procedures and programs
• Assist in implementing and deployment HSE Culture (Golden Rules, Stop Card, etc.), ensuring the compliance with Company commitments across all development, construction & operation sites
• Assist in sharing information and best practice across the affiliates and regions, ensuring a consistent roll out of standards and regular Return of Experience (REX)
• Assist in ensuring proper HSE training of Company staff
• Assist in monitoring various project H3SE action plans and compliance to relevant H3SE legislation and statutory requirements
• Assist to comply with ISO 14001/45001/50001 requirements
• Assist to monitor MCA annual H3SE roadmap and action plans
• Assist to various H3SE activities and campaigns (World Day for Safety, Environmental Day, Contractor HSE Forum, etc)

2/ H3SE Reporting
• Collect relevant information and report HSE data
• Be the focal point for monthly/annual H3SE projects reporting consolidation at MCA perimeter

3/ Project Development
• Assist with HSE analysis and risk assessment
• Assist to prepare HSE analysis presentation for top management approval

Candidate Profile

Expected qualifications:

  • Msc Degree or engineering degree in HSE or HSE risk management

Technical skills:

  • Ideally 1-3 years experience in the HSE field, risks management or HSE management system
  • Good knowledge in HSE + ISO 14001/45001/50001

Computing skills:

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Languages:

  • English: level C1/C2
  • French: level C1
  • Arabic : would be valuable but optional
