REN is Total Energies’ Division in charge of the development, construction, O&M, asset management and financing of renewable projects: large and small scale (distributed generation) solar, onshore and offshore wind, off-grid energy, storage

Activities

The Asset Manager provides an updated image of TTE’s investment in asset, to be used for the main company exercises (LTP, BU). He/she actively participates in the management of the JVs’ activities in Türkiye.

Economic and financial dimensions:

Owns, maintains and updates financial models of assets for participation in calls for tender or internal investment decisions, during construction and operating phases
Controls the reliability and robustness of economic models provided by the JVs
Collects, reviews and challenges non-operated JVs financial and economic information

Assets’ performance:

Monitors and challenges the operational, technical and financial performance of the assets of the non-operated JVs
1. Contributes to ensuring compliance with all projects’ safety, environmental and contractual responsibilities
2. Participates in the day-to-day asset performance monitoring, optimization and O&M management
3. Conducts data analysis, produces and evaluates key performance indicators (KPIs) and closure forecasts and provides insights and recommendations for performance improvement

JVs management and governance:

Prepares all the work in relation with the governance bodies of the JVs
1. Prepares and/or participates in the JVs’ monthly working group meetings and operational committees
2. Assists the Asset Owner Representative in the analysis of all the key elements before each committee and board: prepares summary notes / board memos, analyses the financial statements for approval and ensures their validation during these meetings, proposes clear vote recommendations to the Directors

Internal Governance:

Contributes to the endorsement process for the preparation of the internal investment decisions
Develops privileged relationships with cross-functional teams of the Company (A&C, Structured Finance, M&A, Financial Performance, etc)

Candidate Profile

Master’s degree in economics or finance or business administration
10 years of relevant experience in economy / finance / renewables sector
Practical experience of TTE processes (Budget, LTP, investment approval process)
Proven experience in asset management, investment management, or portfolio management, with a focus on non-operated joint ventures
Strong financial analysis and modelling skills and deep understanding and comfort with cash flows, IRR, NPV calculations
Proficiency in excel and good scripting and programming skills
Ability to challenge forecasts / business models (independent and critical view is required)
Ability to interact easily with operational teams, JV partners finance/accounting/taxes/OFL
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Analytical and presentation skills
Fluent in English & French, experience working in multi-cultural environments
