Job Summary
The People Operations Partner is a versatile and strategic role responsible for the execution and local adaptation of global People programs and processes, acting as the primary People consultative partner for the Israel site. This role will work in close partnership with Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, and other teams to ensure global People Strategy initiatives are implemented effectively, maintaining both local legal compliance and a consistently excellent employee experience across the region.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Business Partnership & Program Execution
Business Partner Collaboration: Act as a key partner to Business Partners, providing local expertise and support for strategic initiatives, including facilitating annual performance management cycles, contributing to talent reviews, and executing succession planning programs within the Israel site.
Program Execution: Support the implementation and local execution of global People programs (e.g., compensation review cycles, engagement surveys) across the Israel site.
Consultative Guidance: Serve as a dedicated People consultant to managers, providing guidance on day-to-day people management, employee development, and team effectiveness, ensuring alignment with Business Partner and company strategy.
Core People Operations & Administration
Onboarding & Offboarding: Managing the logistics and experience for new hires and departing employees in Israel, ensuring local compliance and a seamless transition process.
Benefits & Compensation Administration: Partnering with the Senior Director to manage enrollments, answer employee questions regarding benefits and total rewards, and ensure accurate payroll information is submitted for processing.
Workday/Data Management: Maintaining accurate employee records, running reports, and ensuring data integrity and confidentiality within Workday, our People Information System.
Engagement & Culture: Execute and support local well-being and engagement programs that enhance the employee experience and reinforce company culture. This includes managing local celebrations, wellness initiatives, and team-building events.
People Compliance and Employee Relations
Employee Relations: Serving as the first point of contact for employee issues, concerns, and conflict resolution, and escalating complex matters to Business Partners or Legal as necessary.
Policy & Compliance: Ensuring the company adheres to all Israeli labor laws (e.g., Severance Pay Law) and company policies. Partner with Legal to ensure all local People actions are fully compliant.
Global Compliance Execution: Support the Business Partners in ensuring global People policies and procedures are applied consistently and comply with all relevant regional and national labor laws.
Talent Acquisition Support
Recruitment Partnership: Collaborate closely with the Talent Acquisition team and hiring managers to execute full-cycle recruitment for all roles in Israel, focusing on a smooth and positive candidate experience from sourcing support to final offer.
Recruitment Strategy Execution: Support the execution of talent acquisition strategies, including facilitating the employee referral program and providing support for recruitment-related training for local hiring managers.
Qualifications and Skills
Required
Bachelor's degree in People Strategy (HR), Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
5+ years of progressive People experience in a Generalist capacity, demonstrating expertise across all core People functions.
Deep, expert knowledge of Israeli labor law and regulatory requirements is mandatory.
Prior experience in a global, multi-national organization, regularly interacting with teams in different regions (EMEA, APAC, USA).
Demonstrated ability to function as a strategic partner and consultant, providing high-level guidance to managers.
Proven experience supporting full-cycle recruitment and managing complex employee relations cases.
Experience with Workday or other major cloud-based HRIS, and familiar use of market data from platforms like Ravio and Aon/Radford for compensation analysis.
Fluency in both English and Hebrew (written and verbal) is essential.
Preferred
Relevant People certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR, or Israeli equivalent).
Experience partnering directly with Business Partners on strategic workforce planning.
Experience in the technology or cybersecurity sector.
