Our team is looking for a seasoned and talented Data Scientist, who is experienced in collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and deploy ML/AI solutions that drive business impact. The ideal candidate will be skilled in building and enhancing predictive models, automating feedback loops for production systems, and creating scalable data products to support Bitsight’s cyber risk platform.
Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and enhance statistical and machine learning models to support product development.
Collaborate closely with Engineering, Product, and other teams to integrate ML/AI capabilities into production systems.
Monitor model performance in production and contribute to processes for continuous improvement.
Create repeatable processes and scalable ML/AI data products for development and deployment.
Contribute new tools, utilities, and code to strengthen shared data science infrastructure.
Document work clearly and communicate findings through design docs, presentations, and technical discussions.
Develop ML/AI strategy and operational best practices through insights and opportunity identification.
Requirements:
Bachelor degree in a quantitative field with minimum 1 year equivalent data science industry experience at the senior level.
Strong programming skills in Python with solid SQL experience.
Experience applying statistical and machine learning techniques to real-world problems with measurable outcomes.
Proven track record working with distributed compute systems in a cloud provider such as AWS or GCP.
Experience deploying and monitoring ML/AI models in production environments
Strong communicator who thrives in cross-functional collaboration and is motivated to drive business impact through data science.
Responsible, team-oriented, and well-organized.
Preferred:
Advanced degree with research experience.
Prior experience in cyber security.
Hands-on experience on advanced ML techniques such as neural networks, deep learning, graph neural networks, or related approaches.
Experience working with GPU-based training systems at the code and system level
Experience working on both structured and unstructured data sources (text, logs, or web data).
Interest in contributing to shared codebases or publishing technical knowledge.
