We are seeking a dynamic individual for the player-coach role of Solution Architect Team Lead in the Americas. This is an exciting opportunity to build and lead a top-notch team of Solution Architects in the US, in one of the most promising startups in the world.

As the Solution Architect Team Lead for the Americas region, you will play a pivotal role in leading and managing a team of Solution Architects dedicated to driving the successful adoption and implementation of AI21 Studio across strategic accounts. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the front line of the Generative AI revolution, overseeing a regional team in the transition from research to massive adoption.

• Team Leadership:
• Build, lead and mentor a team of Solution Architects in the US, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
• Work with the ROW Solution Architect Lead to coordinate and allocate resources effectively to ensure the successful execution of client projects.
• Conduct regular team meetings, performance reviews, and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Client Engagement:
• Join customer calls to gain a deep understanding of their goals and constraints, translating them into plans and solutions.
• Oversee the design and implementation of AI21’s solutions in the region.
• Collaboration and Communication:
• Develop and maintain robust communication channels with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment on project objectives, milestones, and challenges.
• Technical / Professional authority
• Act as a technical point of contact for the US post-sales teams, providing expertise to support and expand client adoption and value.
• Know the details of the product and solution implementation, as well as what can and cannot be done from a technical standpoint.
• Collaborate with the product teams to learn the roadmap, collect customer feedback, and provide it to the teams.
• Continuous Improvement:
• Encourage a culture of continuous improvement by collecting and analyzing data, feedback, and insights from client experiences.
• Identify challenges and opportunities, communicating them to product functions to guide roadmap decisions and enhance language model capabilities.

• Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or similar fields.
• At least 5 years of proven managerial experience, leading and managing a team of Solution Architects or a related technical team in a business environment.
• At least 3 years of hands-on industry experience writing production code.
• Demonstrated ability to inspire, mentor, and guide a team towards achieving shared goals and delivering exceptional results.
• Experience in strategic workforce planning, resource allocation, and performance management.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in Python development.
• Experience with large language models is an advantage.
• Soft Skills:
• Client-focused approach with a proven ability to understand and address client needs effectively.
• Ability to inspire and motivate a team to achieve high performance and meet strategic objectives.
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, executives, and clients.
• Effective communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal, to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven track record of fostering a collaborative and inclusive team culture that values diversity and innovation.

The pay range for this position is $250K to $320K per year. Actual pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
